KATHMANDU, July 21: Monsoon wind is active across the country. The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology stated that the low-pressure belt of the monsoon is towards the north of its average range.
Currently, most places are experiencing cloudy conditions.
Heavy rainfall predicted in some places in Koshi, Bagmati
The weather service predicted heavy rainfall in one to two places in the hilly region in Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces.
Some of the places in the mountainous region are likely to have moderate snowfall and rain along with lightning and thunder.
The weather bulletin issued by the Department forecasted moderate rainfall coupled with thunder and lightning in a few places of Madhes Province and in some places of the Tarai region in Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini and Sudurpaschim Provinces.
It will be generally cloudy tonight, the Department added.
