KATHMANDU, July 21: A garment wholesaler died allegedly after jumping from the fourth floor of his residence in Kathmandu on Monday evening, police said.
According to police, Nabin Jindal jumped from the balcony of his home in Chuchepati, Boudha, behind the Bhatbhateni Supermarket.
He was rushed to Stupa Hospital in Boudha for treatment but was pronounced dead by doctors.

Police said they found poison in his room and are investigating the possibility that he may have consumed it before the incident.
Jindal, who lived in Kumarigal, operated a clothing business in Boudha, importing garments from India for wholesale distribution in Kathmandu.
According to family members, he had been facing financial stress in recent months due to a slowdown in business. They also said he had been taking medication for high blood pressure, diabetes and depression.
Police are continuing their investigation into the incident.
