KATHMANDU, May 1: A video of Janata Samajbadi Party (JSP) Nepal leader Dr Babi Singh Yadav dancing and firing a pistol into the air has gone viral on social media, prompting police to launch an investigation.
In the video, which surfaced online on Wednesday, Dr Yadav is seen dancing with a group of people and firing a round from a pistol, with smoke visibly emerging from the gun. Another man is then seen taking the pistol from her hand.

According to the Saptari District Police Office, they have begun investigating the incident. Police said that the time and location of the video have not yet been confirmed.
Police have summoned Dr Yadav for interrogation regarding the incident.
Dr Yadav, a central leader of JSP Nepal, is the daughter of National Assembly member Mrigendra Singh Yadav and is a resident of Bode Barsain Municipality-5 in Saptari.
