KATHMANDU, Nov 3: President Ram Chandra Paudel received Tihar tika from his sisters Sharda Pandit and Chanda Ojha at an auspicious time.
The President’s personal secretariat reported that President Paudel received the tika from his sisters Sharda and Chanda at 11:37 AM on Sunday morning at the Presidential residence, Sheetal Niwas.

The Nepal Calendar Determination Committee set the most auspicious time for Bhai Tika this year at 11:37 AM on Sunday morning. Although an ideal time was designated for Bhai Tika, the committee stated that tika can be applied throughout the day. On the final day of Yam Panchak, sisters apply tika to their brothers, and brothers apply tika to their sisters.
