KATHMANDU, Nov 2: Deposits in the Social Security Fund (SSF) continue to rise, with the total amount reaching Rs 94.09 billion to date.
The SSF has disbursed Rs 17.29 billion to contributors under various schemes, according to the SSF.

A total of 2,592,141 individuals have been enrolled as contributors, while the number of registered employers has reached 22,125. The SSF said it is making efforts to expand employer enrollment further.
So far, the SSF has paid Rs 2.42 billion towards medical, health and maternity claims. Likewise, payments include Rs 223.1 million under accident and disability coverage, Rs 283.5 million under dependent family security and Rs 14.36 billion under retirement benefits.
