CHITWAN, Nov 25: An 18-year-old girl was killed and her father injured after a gas bullet truck hit their motorcycle in Chitwan on Tuesday.
According to DSP Rabindra Khanal of the District Police Office, the empty gas bullet (NL 01 L 2453) travelling from Kathmandu toward Birgunj struck a motorcycle (Bagmati Province 06–005 Pa 3054) at Malpot Chowk in Bharatpur Metropolitan City–10.

Raina Shrestha of Madhyabindu Municipality–3 of Lamjung, who was riding pillion, died while undergoing treatment at Old Medical College.
Her father, 52-year-old Rajkumar Shrestha, who was driving the motorcycle, sustained injuries. He is receiving treatment at the same hospital. Police have taken the gas bullet driver into custody.
