KATHMANDU, May 2: Federal Socialist Forum Nepal (FSFN) and Naya Shakti Party Nepal (NSPN) have jointly registered the candidature of mayoral and deputy mayoral candidates for Kathmandu Metropolitan City for the elections slated for May 14.
The two parties have registered the name of Pabitra Bajracharya from the FSFN and Sabina Aryal from the NSPN as mayoral and deputy mayoral candidates respectively who will contest the local polls slated for May 14 from Kathmandu Metropolitan City.

FSFN chairperson Upendra Yadav and NSPN Coordinator Dr Baburam Bhattarai were present during the registration of the candidacy at the City Hall.
The two parties, which are in the process of unification, recently agreed to contest the local polls from the same panel.
