Koseli Shoe Industry fined Rs 200,000, business halted over labeling violation

KATHMANDU, April 17: The Department of Commerce, Supplies and Consumer Protection has imposed a fine of Rs 200,000 on Koseli Leather Shoe Industry for selling products without proper labeling, including Maximum Retail Price (MRP).



According to the department, sales of products without MRP labels have been suspended, and the company has been directed to appear with all relevant business documents.

Meanwhile, the department has lifted the suspension on the business operations of Pashupati Trading Concern and Janata Cable Industries, which were halted on Tuesday.
