Man arrested in Parsa for wife’s murder in Gongabu guest house

Police have arrested a man accused of killing his wife at a guest house in Gongabu, Kathmandu.

KATHMANDU, Aug 17: Police have arrested a man accused of killing his wife at a guest house in Gongabu, Kathmandu.



Santosh Century of Kavre allegedly murdered his 27-year-old wife, Lalita BK, on August 12 at Kanchan Koshi Hotel and hid her body under a bed before fleeing.

Century had filed a missing person’s report with Maharajgunj Police the following day in an attempt to cover up the crime. The victim’s body was later discovered on August 15.


A team from the Kathmandu Valley Crime Investigation Office detained him in Parsa and is bringing him back to Kathmandu for further investigation.
