KATHMANDU, Nov 28: Home Minister Om Prakash Aryal held a special meeting with Madhes Province Minister for Home, Law and Communications Bimala Ansari to discuss strengthening security mechanisms in the province.
The meeting featured extensive discussions on overall peace and security in the Madhes region, crime control, and enhancing coordination between provincial and federal security agencies.

Minister Aryal reaffirmed the central government’s full commitment to bolstering security in Madhes, assuring that cooperation between the federal and provincial governments will be further strengthened. He also reiterated the government’s unwavering commitment to conducting the upcoming elections on schedule.
In the meeting, Aryal further assured that the implementation of the Police Adjustment Act would be expedited to ensure smoother security management across the province.
