KATHMANDU, Jan 1: Minister for Physical Infrastructure and Transport Renu Kumari Yadav has appointed Shiva Hari Sapkota as the Director General of the Department of Roads (DOR).
Prior to his appointment, Sapkota was a Joint-Secretary at the Ministry of Physical Infrastructure and Transportation.

Upon assuming office on Friday, Director General Sapkota said that he would work with a plan to expedite necessary development works by maintaining discipline in the DoR.
Sapkota had entered the service of the then Department of Aviation as an engineer in 1995 before working at the Department of Roads since 2000.
