KATHMANDU, July 14: Authorities have suspended vehicular movement on the Nagdhunga route leading out of the Kathmandu Valley after continuous rainfall heightened the risk of floods, landslides, falling rocks and other rain-induced disasters.
According to Nepal Police Central Spokesperson Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Abi Narayan Kafle, traffic along the Nagdhunga exit route will remain suspended until further notice.

He said vehicular movement has also been halted on the Pharping–Dakshinkali–Makwanpur road as a precaution to ensure public safety.
Police have urged the public to contact the nearest police office in case of emergencies or road-related problems.
