SINDHULI, Nov 12: A truck carrying goods collided with two motorcycles on Wednesday afternoon, resulting in the deaths of two people and injuries to four others in Dudhali Municipality–4, Sindhuli.
According to Inspector Sapana Khadka, chief of the Area Police Office, Dakaha, the incident occurred on Madan Bhandari Highway when a truck (registration number NaPR 1–02–002 K 411) traveling from Bhiman to Dudhali collided with two motorcycles coming from the opposite direction (NaPR 2–01–001 P 2142 and MaPR 02–006 P 5841).

The deceased were identified as 34-year-old Ramkumar Kumar of Dudhali–11, Tadi, and 25-year-old Phulbabu Dhami of the same area. Both were declared dead at Dudhali Municipal Hospital, Sirithouli.
The injured include 26-year-old Biplav Dhami, 27-year-old Buddhi Tharu, 25-year-old Sunil Majhi, and 32-year-old Kushe Dhami, all from Dudhali–3. Hospital sources reported that Biplav, Buddhi, and Kushe are in serious condition.
The truck, driven by 25-year-old Sher Bahadur Bist from Chhathar Jorpati Rural Municipality–6, Dhankuta, reportedly caused a small fire near the crash site. The motorcycle with registration MaPR 02–006 P 5841 was completely damaged in the fire.
The truck and driver have been taken into police custody, and detailed investigations are ongoing, the District Police Office, Sindhuli, confirmed.
