BANKE, Oct 1: Banke district reported two more coronavirus-related deaths on Thursday.
According to Naresh Shrestha, an official at the District Public Health Office, Banke, two persons who had earlier tested positive for the virus died while undergoing treatment at Nepalgunj Medical College Teaching Hospital.

A 52-year-old male from Nepalgunj Sub-metropolitan City-4 breathed his last while receiving treatment at 1AM and a 75-year-old female from Surkhet died at 10AM today.
“With the two new deaths, the coronavirus-related death toll in Banke district has risen to 17,” Shrestha said.
Twenty-one out of 112 coronavirus patients who are undergoing treatment at isolation facilities in Banke are in critical condition, he said.
