KATHMANDU, Sept 19: Vice President Nanda Bahadur Pun has said that full compliance, protection and development of the Constitution are necessary conditions for building a prosperous nation and an egalitarian society.
In a message today on the occasion of Constitution Day-2079, he said that despite some challenges the implementation of the Constitution has so far been satisfactory. Since the constitution is a dynamic document, it can be enriched further.

Vice President Pun in the message had also urged all Nepali brothers and sisters to participate in the coming elections to the House of Representatives and Provincial Assembly, which is a significant aspect for the implementation of the Constitution.
Pun wished that the Day inspires all Nepalis to work for the freedom of the Nepali people, national independence, strengthening of territorial integrity, consolidating national unity and building a socialism-oriented prosperous nation with an egalitarian society in full compliance with the constitution.
