JANAKPURDHAM, May 26: The Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) has filed a case in a special court against the ward chairman and secretary of Janakpurdham Sub-metropolitan City-11 for accepting bribes.
A team sent by the anti-graft body arrested Chairman Arjun Kumar Chaudhary and Ward Secretary Madhav Kumar Rai along with an amount of Rs 50,000 . They had asked the amount from service seekers to sign on the registry sub-committee of land registration.

According to the spokesperson at the CIAA Regional Office in Bardibas, Bhola Dahal, a case has been filed today demanding that the two accused be punished according to the law.
