KATHMANDU, March 7: Vote counting under the first-past-the-post system of the House of Representatives election is underway in 161 constituencies, but counting is yet to begin in four constituencies due to logistical challenges.

According to Election Commission Information Officer Suman Ghimire, delays in collecting ballot boxes from remote areas, mainly due to difficult geography and bad weather, have prevented counting from starting in those constituencies.
