RSP leads in 94 constituencies; NC and UML ahead in 10 seats each in latest vote count

KATHMANDU, March 6: According to the latest vote count under the House of Representatives election, the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) is leading in 94 constituencies.



According to the Election Commission (EC), among the 130 constituencies where vote counting is underway, RSP candidates are leading in 94 constituencies.

Candidates from the Nepali Congress (NC) and the CPN-UML are leading in 10 constituencies each, while candidates from the Nepali Communist Party (NCP) are ahead in eight constituencies.


Similarly, the Shram Sanskriti Party is leading in two constituencies, while the Rastriya Prajatantra Party, the Progressive Democratic Party, the Janata Samajbadi Party Nepal, and an independent candidate are each leading in one constituency.


So far, RSP’s Ranju Neupaune (Darshana) has won from Kathmandu-1 with 15,455 votes, while NC candidate Yogesh Gauchan Thakali has been elected from Mustang with 3,307 votes.
