KATHMANDU, Dec 4: The Film Development Board has made public an official list of operational movie theaters across the country.
Issuing a notice, making public the data of 158 movie theaters across the country, the board has urged the movie distributors to provide films for screening only in those buildings. According to the notice, the license for the public movie theaters have been recently renewed at the board.

According to the list, 67 movie theaters are in operation in Bagmati Province, 26 in Koshi Province, 24 in Madhesh Province, 14 in Gandaki, 24 in Lumbini, two in Karnali and one in Sudurpaschim.
The board has also stated that the number of movie theaters in operation may increase or decrease in the coming days.
