KATHMANDU, July 11: The Karnali Highway has been blocked due to a landslide that took place in Gaganekhola, Kalikot, on Friday night.
Saurabh Kumar Singh, information officer at the Road Division Office (RDO), Jumla, informed that the road has been obstructed for transport movement due to the catastrophe following incessant rains.

According to the RDO, work has been underway to remove the landslide since Saturday morning. Singh said that necessary coordination is being done with the Road Division, Surkhet, in this regard.
The RDO has cautioned everyone concerned through a public notice to take precautions while traveling during the rainy season, while requesting the public not to travel at night.
