KATHMANDU, June 19: CPN (Unified Socialist) lawmaker Amar Bahadur Thapa tore up the budget booklet for the Fiscal Year (FY) 2025/26 during a meeting of the House of Representatives on Thursday.

He specifically tore the ministry budget book of the Ministry of Physical Infrastructure and Transport.
Thapa stated that the budget for physical infrastructure failed to address the needs and demands of the people.
