Speaking at a program organized by the Nepali Congress Karnali Province Committee on Saturday in Birendranagar, Khadka said the party is currently divided and stressed that efforts are underway to unify and strengthen it.
He warned that the party risks further fragmentation and urged leaders and cadres to take the situation seriously to prevent deeper divisions. He also called on party president Gagan Kumar Thapa to take leadership of the entire Nepali Congress and guide it forward.
Khadka said the party must avoid factionalism and encirclement politics, emphasizing that strong and correct leadership is essential at this stage. He added that whenever problems arise in the Congress, the entire country feels the impact, underscoring the need to resolve internal issues and rebuild the party’s strength.
Nepali Congress leader Jeevan Bahadur Shahi also urged everyone to play a responsible role in strengthening the party.
