KATHMANDU, July 13: Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) on Monday fell 30.60 points to close at 2,570.18 points, the lowest in the past eight months.
Last time, the NEPSE closed at 2,560 points on November 20, 2025.

Despite the sharp decline in the market, the trading volume escalated to the largest amount in the past two and a half months. On Monday, the daily turnover stood at Rs 7.46 billion, up from Rs 6.86 billion of the previous day.
The market remained red throughout the trading hours. While the prices of 22 companies increased, 249 decreased, and 4 remained stable.
All 13 groups had their indicators declined. Trading fell the most by 2.30 percent.
Among individual companies, the price of Samudayik Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited increased 5.37 percent, the highest of all. The price of Upakar Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha limited decreased 11.28 percent.
