KATHMANDU, Aug 18: Chief Whip and lawmaker of the Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP), Gyanendra Bahadur Shahi, expressed gratitude to Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli for initiating the swift release of Bipin Joshi but cautioned that it should not turn into empty talk or publicity stunt.

Shahi’s response came after PM Oli posted on social media on Monday, stating that the government is serious about Joshi’s release and is taking every step possible to expedite the process.
“Thank you, Prime Minister, for taking the initiative for Bipin Joshi’s swift release and treating it as a government responsibility,” Shahi wrote on social media. “But please, don’t let it be empty talk or mere sayings like proverbs; we hope to see action. We remain optimistic.”
