SC, Kathmandu District Court lodge police complaints over nationwide court vandalism and arson

Following the filing, police have begun tracing individuals involved in the vandalism and arson targeting the courts. Authorities said efforts are underway to identify those responsible and bring them under legal process.

KATHMANDU, Nov 4:  The Supreme Court (SC) and Kathmandu District Court have filed complaints with the police, seeking an investigation into vandalism and arson that took place during the Gen Z protests.



Both courts submitted the complaints to the Kathmandu District Police Range, Bhadrakali

Significant damage was caused to the SC premises during the GenZ protests on September 8 and 9. Several important documents were burned and destroyed.
