KATHMANDU, Nov 10: At least six people lost their lives in a bolero jeep accident on Sunday in Palata Rural Municipality-3, Kalikot.
According to the District Police Office (DPO), Kalikot, the accident took place around 2:30 pm on Sunday when the jeep with registration number Ka-1-Ja-56 veered off the road.

Chief District Officer (CDO) of Kalikot, Narayan Prasad Bhattarai, said that six people died on the spot in the accident.
The identities of the deceased have not been released yet. Police and army teams have reached the accident spot for rescue operation.
CDO Bhattarai said that nine people have sustained injuries in the accident. The local administration has asked the home ministry for a helicopter for rescue operation.
