DoFE makes labor approval services ‘queue-free’, no token required now

KATHMANDU, March 30: The Department of Foreign Employment (DoFE) has introduced a new system for labor approval services, making them “queue-free” so that service seekers no longer need to obtain tokens.



The decision was implemented after many applicants complained about difficulties in getting same-day tokens for renewal of labor approval services.

According to the DoFE, service users can now submit their applications for labor approval on any day that is convenient for them.


In an official notice, the DoFE stated that the labor approval service has been made queue-free, with the goal of eliminating unnecessary waiting time and improving service efficiency.


The DoFE also said that if applicants submit all the required documents correctly, arrangements have been made to provide renewed labor approval on the same day.
