KATHMANDU, April 21: The Department of Transport Management (DoTM) has urged service seekers to collect their driving licenses from the same office where they had applied.
Issuing a notice, the DoTM said that licenses which had been pending for a long time due to printing delays are now being printed and dispatched to the concerned transport offices.
DoTM yet to print about 2.2 million driving licenses
According to the DoTM, the distribution process is being carried out at a fast pace, and applicants can collect their licenses directly from their respective offices.
It further clarified that drivers can receive their licenses from the office where they had passed their trial or submitted documents for renewal.
“The licenses that have been printed and received by the DoTM are being sent to the respective offices at a rapid pace. Applicants are requested to collect their licenses from the office where they submitted their details,” the notice stated.
