KATHMANDU, Dec 23 : Gen Z groups led by Miraj Dhungana staged another protest on Tuesday at Maiti Ghar, pressing the government to address their demands.
The United Gen Z Movement, coordinated by Dhungana and Sunil Singh, condemned the government’s crackdown on Monday’s protest and announced an indefinite sit-in at the same location. They vowed to continue their movement in a more organized and powerful manner until their demands are met.

Protesters are calling for the formation of an all-party government, describing the administration led by Prime Minister Sushila Karki as failing to respond to their demands. Some Gen Z leaders also accused the government of undermining the outcomes of the September 8–9 protests, prioritizing the interests of established political parties over citizens’ concerns.
