KATHMANDU, May 15: The prices of gold and silver declined in the domestic market on Friday.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association (FENEGOSIDA), the price of gold fell by Rs 4,000 per tola (11.66 grams), while silver dropped by Rs 355 per tola.
Gold and silver prices remain steady
The price of hallmark gold has been fixed at Rs 298,500 per tola, while silver is being traded at Rs 5,390 per tola.
On Thursday, gold was traded at Rs 302,500 per tola, while silver stood at Rs 5,745 per tola, the FENEGOSIDA reported.
In the international market, gold is being traded at USD 4,678 per ounce, while silver is priced at USD 87 per ounce, according to international media reports.
