KATHMANDU, March 27: The newly formed cabinet led by Prime Minister Balendra Shah held its first meeting today, during which it approved four key decisions, government spokesperson Sasmit Pokhrel announced.
The first decision involves paying tribute to martyrs, acknowledging their sacrifices for the nation.

Secondly, the cabinet appointed the Minister of Education Sasmit Pokharel as the government spokesperson, assigning the official communication role to him.
Third, the government approved 100 new initiatives aimed at administrative and governance reforms, signaling a focus on efficiency and systemic improvements.
Finally, the cabinet decided to immediately implement the recommendations of the Gen Z movement probe commission, reflecting the government’s commitment to act on key inquiries and public concerns.
