KATHMANDU, Jan 17: There is no influence of a significant weather system in Nepal.
According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division (MFD), some areas of the Terai region in Koshi, Madhesh and Lumbini provinces are currently experiencing mist and fog.
Western winds affect Karnali, Sudurpaschim provinces
The weather is mainly clear in hilly and mountainous regions. This afternoon, some areas in the Terai region may experience haze/fog.
Partly cloudy weather is expected in Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali and Sudurpashchim provinces, while the remaining areas will mainly have clear weather, the Division noted.
There is a possibility of light rain and snowfall in one or two places in the high hilly and mountainous regions of Karnali and Sudurpashchim provinces.

There is a chance of light rain/snow in one or two places in the high hilly and mountainous regions of Karnali province.
