KATHMANDU, Jan 8: Nearly Rs 275,000 was pickpocketed from a passenger traveling on a Mayur Yatayat bus from Sinamangal to Gongabu.
The victim, 37-year-old Dipendra Sharma of Baglung Municipality–4, currently residing in Mitrnagar, Kathmandu, had boarded the bus from Sinamangal. Before reaching Mitra Park, the black side bag he was carrying went missing.

Sharma filed a complaint at the Gaushala Police Circle on January 7, following which police launched an investigation and arrested four suspects.
Those arrested are 37-year-old Saroj Khadka of Dakshinkali Municipality–2, Kathmandu; 42-year-old Bikash Lama of Mahabharat Rural Municipality–7, Kavre; 33-year-old Raju Gurung of Tanahun; and 33-year-old Subas Magar of Lalitpur.
