KATHMANDU, Oct 9: Nepal Police has restricted the use of police uniform in any kind of television shows, music videos, social media platforms and stage shows without permission from the police headquarters.
According to a press statement issued by Nepal Police Headquarters, the Nepal police have taken this move to minimize the misuse of police uniform and monogram on social platforms.

From now on, the people will have to seek permission from the Public Relations and Publicity Unit of the police headquarters before using the police uniform.
Nepal Police has also warned of punishment if the police uniform is used without receiving permission.
