UDAYAPUR, Dec 2: A youth from Katari has been arrested with banned pharmaceutical drugs from Lalpatta, a border point between Udaypur and Saptari.
According to the police post in Triyuga Municipality-6, Lalpatta, he was detained during a routine patrol at around 4:45 pm on Monday. The arrested individual has been identified as a 23-year-old resident of Bhore, Katari Municipality-7.

Police said they recovered 80 tablets of the restricted drug Opiadol, along with two ampoules each of Diazepam, Buprenorphine, and Phenergan from his possession.
He has been kept in custody at the Udaypur District Police Office for further investigation, police spokesperson DSP Kedarman Dong said.
