UDAYAPUR, Oct 16: One person died and another injured in a road mishap Udayapur on Tuesday.
The accident occurred when a motorbike en route to Gaighat from Murkachi Bajar slipped off the Kauwai river bridge in Triyuga Municipality-7 along the Gaighat-Nepaltar section of Madan Bhandari Lokmarga.

The deceased has been identified as 50-year-old Dinesh Paudel from Triyuga Municipality, according to police.
Paudel died on the spot while Kul Bahadur Thapa was severely injured, SP Chandra Deb Rai said.
The injured has been referred to Biratnagar for further treatment.
