KATHMANDU, Nov 24: Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) Spokesperson Manish Jha has denied rumors that Vice Chair Dr Swarnim Wagle and leader Dr Tosima Karki are preparing to leave the party.
Responding to journalists’ questions, Jha said the speculation was baseless. He said that similar rumors had circulated eight months ago claiming that five office-bearers and three lawmakers were planning to quit.

“There is a press conference in three hours, and suddenly rumors spread that someone is leaving the party. This has happened before,” Jha said, urging the public not to fall for such misinformation.
Jha also claimed that the latest rumor originated from a Nepali Congress–affiliated Facebook group. “If any credible media outlet reported it, we would take it seriously. But when such claims come from a group with only a few thousand members, people—including our own—start asking questions. It’s not reliable,” he said.
