KATHMANDU, Jan 22: Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) Senior Leader Balendra Shah (Balen) is actively campaigning for his party’s candidates beyond his home turf of Jhapa, visiting Ilam, Panchthar, and Taplejung.
On Thursday, Balen joined door-to-door campaigns in Ilam Bazaar, meeting RSP candidates Bimal Gadal (Ilam–1) and Gokul Bahadur Rai (Ilam–2), energizing local supporters.

He also engaged with party supporters in Phidim, Panchthar, and took part in election outreach activities. Later in the day, he is scheduled to visit the revered Pathibhara Mata in Taplejung.
Balen himself is contesting the elections from Jhapa–5.
