Seven including five Chinese workers injured in clash at Himalayan Food Company

Of the injured, two are Nepalis and seven are Chinese workers. They are Nabaraj Bamjan, 30, of Marin rural municipality-6, Sindhuli; and Gokarna Katuwal, 22, of Katari municipality-12 of Udayapur, said Deputy Superintendent of Police at the District Police Office, Sindhuli, Surya Prakash Subedi.

SINDHULI, Feb 23: Seven people were injured when a clash erupted between Nepali and Chinese workers at Himalayan Food Company of Marin rural municipality-4 in Sindhuli district today.



Of the injured, two are Nepalis and seven are Chinese workers. They are Nabaraj Bamjan, 30, of Marin rural municipality-6, Sindhuli; and Gokarna Katuwal, 22, of Katari municipality-12 of Udayapur, said Deputy Superintendent of Police at the District Police Office, Sindhuli, Surya Prakash Subedi.

Subedi informed that five Chinese nationals sustained injuries on face and body parts. They have been receiving treatment at a primary health post, Kapilakot. 


The dispute erupted after Nabaraj Bamjan was dismissed from work. Further investigation into the case is underway, added Sindhuli Police.
