PARSA, Feb 17: A joint team of the Armed Police Force (APF) Nepal and the Nepal Police has seized 160 kilograms of cannabis along with the driver from Pakahamainpur Rural Municipality in Parsa.
On Monday, the team intercepted a Suzuki Swift car, registration Pra 03–01–002 Cha 5432, coming from Madhuwani Chowk in Pakahamainpur. The driver, Buddhi Lal Ghalan, was caught in possession of 160 kg of cannabis.

APF Nepal’s 13th Battalion Headquarters and Deputy Superintendent Mohan Bahadur Kshetri said Ghalan has been handed over to the Area Police Office, Pokhariya, for further legal action.
According to Battalion Commander Kshetri, Ghalan was caught while attempting to throw the cannabis, which had been packed in the car’s trunk. Along with the drugs, the police also recovered Rs 22,500 in cash and a Realme smartphone from him.
