KATHMANDU, July 23: An information technology expo aimed at promoting digital transformation, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, cloud computing and emerging technologies will be held in November.
The event, titled NAS IT Expo, is being organized by the Nepal Association for Software and IT Services (NAS IT).
The two-day expo will take place on November 21 and 22. It aims to bring together Nepal's technology industry, businesses, policymakers, investors, entrepreneurs, students and technology enthusiasts under one roof to promote innovation, collaboration and business opportunities.

Speaking at a press conference on Wednesday, the organizers said this year's expo will provide technology companies with a platform to showcase their latest solutions, connect directly with businesses and build long term partnerships. They expressed confidence that the event will help accelerate Nepal's digital transformation.
The expo is expected to attract government officials, foreign ambassadors, investors, representatives of business organizations, startups, students and technology enthusiasts.
According to the organizers, the event will highlight Nepal's growing technological capabilities while promoting locally developed IT solutions. It also aims to strengthen collaboration between technology companies and businesses, encourage innovation, facilitate knowledge sharing and contribute to the sustainable growth of Nepal's digital economy.
