KATHMANDU, July 23: Gold and silver prices posted modest gains in the domestic market on Thursday, with gold rising by Rs 300 per tola and silver increasing by Rs 25 compared to Wednesday.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association, the price of fine gold has been fixed at Rs 291,300 per tola, while silver is being traded at Rs 4,505 per tola today.
Gold and silver prices remain steady
On Wednesday, fine gold was traded at Rs 291,000 per tola, while silver was priced at Rs 4,480 per tola.
According to international media reports, gold is currently trading at US$4,133 per ounce in the international market, while silver is priced at US$59 per ounce.
