KATHMANDU, Nov 28: A motorcyclist died after his bike hit a truck parked along the roadside in Dharan Sub-Metropolitan City on Tuesday night. Another rider on the same motorcycle sustained serious injuries.
According to police, the motorcycle (Province 1–03–001 Pa 1324) crashed into a stationary truck (Province 1–02–001 Kha 8757) parked at Teenkuñe in Dharan-8. The rider, 25-year-old Manjil Limbu of Itahari-4, died in the incident.
District Police Office spokesperson Chandra Khadka said the injured passenger, 32-year-old Amit Rai of Itahari-5, is in critical condition and is undergoing treatment at BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences.
