KATHMANDU, May 27: Shram Sanskriti Party Chair Harka Raj Rai Sampang boycotted Wednesday’s House of Representatives (HoR) meeting, accusing the Speaker of failing to issue a ruling to ensure Prime Minister Balendra Shah’s presence in the House.

Sampang walked out of the meeting shortly after it began, saying Speaker DP Aryal should direct the Prime Minister to appear in Parliament and be held accountable.
He had raised the demand at the start of the session, insisting that the Speaker issue a formal ruling on the matter. However, after no such directive was issued, he left the HoR carrying his bag.
