KATHMANDU, June 3: Nepali Congress Whip Pushpa Bhusal has said that the poor people are suffering from the price hike and demanded the government control it immediately.
Bhusal clarified that the Nepalis were also affected by the price rise in petroleum products due to the Russia-Ukraine war and said that the government should pay special attention to the development of the energy sector including hydropower and solar energy to control it.

Participating in the discussion of the House of Representatives demanding reduction of petroleum products’ price, she said that the government should take steps in this direction as the problem of price rise cannot be solved without replacement of imported goods.
NC Whip Bhusal urged the government to control the price rise by immediately releasing the report of the committee headed by Biswo Nath Poudel, vice-chairman of the National Planning Commission.
