KATHMANDU, April 8: President Ram Chandra Paudel is scheduled to address both houses of Parliament—the House of Representatives and the National Assembly—on Friday.
According to the Office of the President, a formal letter has been sent to the Federal Parliament Secretariat regarding the address. The Secretariat is expected to release an official notice about the President’s speech soon.

A source said, “It has been decided that the President will address Parliament; the Secretariat will issue the notice shortly.”
This will be President Paudel’s first address to Parliament following the elections held on March 5 in line with constitutional provisions.
