KATHMANDU, March 9: Results of 161 out of 165 constituencies under the first-past-the-post system of the House of Representatives election have been made public by the Election Commission (EC).
As of 6:30 AM today, the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has secured victory in 124 constituencies and is leading in one constituency. The Nepali Congress (NC) has won 17 constituencies and is leading in one more.

The CPN-UML has won eight constituencies and is leading in one. The Nepali Communist Party (NCP) has won seven seats and is leading in one constituency.
Similarly, three candidates each from the Shram Sanskriti Party and the Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) have been elected, while an independent candidate has also won a seat.
