KATHMANDU, Jan 9: Dr Bishwa Dawadi has been appointed as Acting Registrar of the Nepal Medical Council (NMC).
The Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) has given the responsibility of registrar to Dr Dawadi until further arrangements are made.

He was appointed as Acting Registrar by the MoHP’s decision on Sunday. Dr Dawadi assumed office on Monday.
The NMC Registrar is appointed by the cabinet. Dr Dawadi has been appointed as the Acting Registrar until a new arrangement is made.
The post fell vacant after the term of the incumbent Registrar Dr Krishna Adhikari ended on December 23.
