Gold, silver prices edge lower in domestic market

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Associations, fine gold is being traded at Rs 311,100 per tola, while silver has been fixed at Rs 5,285 per tola.

KATHMANDU, June 4: Prices of both gold and silver slipped in the domestic market on Thursday, with gold losing Rs 200 per tola and silver dropping Rs 85 per tola.



According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Associations (FENEGOSIDA), fine gold is being traded at Rs 311,100 per tola, while silver has been fixed at Rs 5,285 per tola.

On Wednesday, gold was traded at Rs 311,300 per tola and silver at Rs 5,370 per tola.


The decline comes amid fluctuations in the international precious metals market, which continues to influence domestic prices.
