Govt to table Economic Survey in today's Parliament meeting

KATHMANDU, May 28: The government is set to table the Economic Survey for Fiscal Year 2017/18 in today's meeting of the Legislature-Parliament.

KATHMANDU, May 28: The government is set to table the Economic Survey for Fiscal Year 2017/18 in today's meeting of the Legislature-Parliament. 



Deputy Prime Minister Krishna Bahadur Mahara will also present the review of last FY's annual economic situations of corporations in the meeting.

"Finance Minister Mahara will table the Survey and the review of last FY's annual economic situation of corporations following the answering of queries by Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal raised on the issues of the programmes and policies introduced by the government," said Laxman Aryal, chief of the Economic Policy Analysis Division under the Finance Ministry. 


Tabling the Survey is in line with the provision of the constitution stating that the budget should be tabled in Parliament on May 29, added Aryal. RSS
